The Wellington. Old Navals' Defence Rifle Club held their annual meeting, on .Tuesday evening".' There was'a fair attendance of members! The balancesheet showed a credit balance of £3 Is. 10d., which was considered.highly satisfactory, especially as.'this was tne first active year of. the club's existence. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows■ - President, Mr. JV M. Eabe (re-elect-'ed).-j deputj'-presideht,;Mr. ,W. Harris; hon. secretaryfMr; P. E. Fra'nkljn (reelected); treasurer,' Mr.. J. Alexander (re-elected): committee, Messrs. P. M. Campbell, J. Clayden, 11. Bishop, E. Pringle, M. Hugo; auditor, Mr. C. Hugo. '•'■■■ ■'. \ , The president informed members that six targets would be available on the Miramar range for the opening day,. which will probably be early in October.
