BELL gave notice that he would introduce oniiext sitting day two Bills:—(1) A Bill to amend the Animals' Protection Act; (2) a Bjll to make better provision for the registration and control of medical practitioners. The War Riek Insurance Bill was received from the House of Representatives, and was put through all its stages without amendment, and passed. Tho Dunedin City Council Empowering Bill and the Tuakitoto and Kaitangata Lakes Amendment Bill were reported from Committee without amendment, read a third time, and passed. At 4.p.m. the Council adjourned till Tuesday next.
