The tie between M. W.. Horton and C. J. Nathan for tho monthly cleek was played on Saturday, and resulted in a wjii for the latter with a net score of 78. ■
THE WAIWETU CLUB. . The result of the first round of the ladies' championship is as follows:— Miss Hislion. won from Miss Rothschild, 4 and 2; Miss E. Gaynor won from Miss Isaaos, 7 and 6; Miss M. Gaynor won from Miss Poyndor, 6 and 5; Miss A. Gaynor won from Miss Bodmin at 19th green.
