Dalgoty and Company, Ltd., havo received the following market report from their London house:—Wool Sale—Owing to tho attitude of buyers in wanting sale postponed, brokers have decided to limit the offerings to the arrivals prior to August 18 only. The eale opens on October 6, lasting five days, and quantity available is estimated to be 50,000 bales. Sheepskins.—At the sale just closed merinos averaged a decline in prices of 25 per cent, and crossbreds 15 per cent, as compared with rates ruling, before the war; 4530 bales of Australasian sheepskins were offered, and 3130 sold.

LONDON SHEEPSKINS SALES. The Department of Agriculture, Industries, and Commerce has received the following cablegram, ■ dated September 58, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London.. in regard to the sale of sheepskins, which took place on September 17:—"A large proportion of merinoe withdrawn; prices have declined 20 por cent.; croesbreds, majority have eold at a decline of 10 per cent.; 15 per cent, longwools. Decline greatest in case of shorns; . 1750 bales New Zealand offered. Merino, fullwoollcd, 6d. to 73d.; shorns, 33d. to Cid-s crossbrods, fine, 7d. to 93.; coarse, 6d. to 8cl.: shorns, 3d. to 7Jd." The Bank of New Zealand has received the following cablegram from its London, office, dated September 18;—" Prices are 10 to 15 per cent, lower for crossbred dtins, and 20 per cent, lower for merino skins."
