Lambing is now -well advanced hero, and the percentages on the whole are very satisfactory. Playing for the golf championship on Saturday Winterburn easily defeated ■Hopkins, while Miss Hodije beat Mrs. Bacchus. The presentation of trophies won throughout the sea-son also took place . during the afternoon. A young man named Pcgg, while bush-felling on Saturday, tried to. save, himself from falling, and dislodged a boulder, which crashed his.hand against ' the treo, lacerating badly, the back of it, and injuring his fingers.:.-. After receiving medical assistances-he proceeded to Wellington to go into Hospital there.
