CARTERTON NEWS
At a meeting at Carterton en Friday evening it was decided to form a Defence lliflo Club. Some thirty members wore enrolled, and Mr. P, C. .Crockett was elected interim secretary. The first parado is to bo hold on Wednesday next, and when sufficient have joined to form a platoon (sixty), members will meet and elect officers. The Carterton District High School boys mot the Ilutt District High School hoys iu a friendly same of football at Carterton on Saturday, the homo team winning by 22 to G. The local corps 'of the Salvation Army are arranging to hold an All Nations Jt'air on Wednesday and Thursday next.
