CAPTURES & SINKINGS TO DATE (Reo.'September 19, 0.55 a.m.) London, September 17. "Fjurplay" states that the Allies have seized'end sunk 352 German merchantmen, of 853,852 tons gross. Of the total, Great Britain seized G87,476 tons, and the other Allies seized 159,401 tons. Tlie Germans have seized 173,941 tons of British shipping and 3261 tons of Russian. France has seized 17,010 tons of Austrian ownership. The British tonnage sunk, including the White Star auxiliary cruiser Oceanic and many trawlers, is 105,521.
