There are twelve delegates from .the Miners' and General Labourers' Unions. Very importsmt matters of organisation are being dealt with. A deputy from the Grey district Social Democratic Party is to wait on the council with a view of putting before it a combined scheme for patriotic purposes in order to allevirato the distress caused by the war.
