CONFERENCE ON THE WEST COAST. (By Tel««Ta.pli—Press Afoodatton.) Reef ton, September 18. A meeting of the Westland and Grey districts of tie Industrial Council is being held in Reefton. There are twelve delegates from .the Miners' and General Labourers' Unions. Very importsmt matters of organisation are being dealt with. A deputy from the Grey district Social Democratic Party is to wait on the council with a view of putting before it a combined scheme for patriotic purposes in order to allevirato the distress caused by the war.
