The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. ' Leave of absence fo> one week was granted to the Hon. W. Morgan, on account of sickness in his family. The Local Elections Proportional Representation Bill (which has already passed the House of Representatives) was committed, read a third time, and passed. The. Land Agents' Amendment Bill was put through oomniittee without amendment, read a third time, and passed. Tho Council rose at 3.6 p.m.
