WAR LORD AT THE FRONT
KAISER VENTURES TOO FAR London, September 15. The Kaiser superintended an attack at Nancy, where it is stated the German losses were 20,000. Their losses at LunevOle were 11,000. —"Times" and Sydney "Sun" services. German newspapers state, that the Kaiser entered French territory at Montmedy, 29 miles north of Verdun and 31 miles south-east of Sedan, expecting his troops to soon enter Paris. Ho proceeded in that direction along the valleys <Jf, the Aisne and tho Oise. Other reports state that the Kaiser ventured too far, and was hurriedly conveyed to safety by a motor-car, being taken to the rear of the lin&s. BERLIN ADMITS "PARTIAL REPULSES." (Rec. September 16, 5.45 p.m.) " London, September 15. Berlin advices admit partial repulses in France, and attribute them to the fact that they were enormously outnumbered. They assert that the general advance of the Germans has not been affected, and claim that they have destroyed the Russians in East Prussia. —"Times" and Sydney "Sun" services.
