, 9 — SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present Indications are for variable breezes, but moderate to Btrong westerlies prevailing soon. Fair to cloudy weather probable generally, but dull and misty at times. Barometer little movement in the north, and falling tendency in the' south shortly. A low pressure area passed to the southward of the Dominion on Sunday, and moderate to strong westerly winds have predominated, squally at times in, and southward of, Oook .Strait. Some • rain has fallen on the West "Coast, and in the'extreme south. Elsewhere the weather has been fair, although occasionally dull. * ■'■■ D. 0. BATES.
