MAGISTRATE'S COURT
Mr. D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided at tho Magistrate's Court on Saturday morning, when the list was a light one. James Gallagher, charged with indecency, was fined £2, with the option of one month's 'imprisonment. For drunkenness, the same acchsed was fined 205., in default to undergo three days' imprisonment. Fines of 20s. each ivere also imposed on . Elizabeth Hampton and John Lilliewell, for drunkenness, the default in both cases being fixed at three days' imprisonment. Terence Smith, Thomas Maloncy, and Alexander M'lntyre were others convicted of drunkenness, tho fine in_ all three cases being 10s., and the default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Six first-offending inebriates wero eonvoted aud discharged. '
