At the annual meeting of the Petone Municipal Band the balance-sheet showed that the receipts for the year were £273 17s. lid., and the expenditure £261 lis. 6d., leaving a credit balance of £12 6s. sd. The assets amounted to £372 13s. 5d., and the liabilities nil. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P.; president, Mr. J. W. M'Ewan; committee, Messrs.
