MULLINS BEFORE THE COTOT. ■-■ On'charges of attempting to murder his wife, iiliza Johnson Mullins. and attempting to commit suicide, William Amos. Mullins appeared in the .dock of She- Magistrate's .Court yesterday. The charges against accused were the sequel to tho Oriental Bay tragedy about a month ago, when accused is alleged to Have sliofc himself and his wife. Neither were expected to* recover from the efof the bullet wounds received. Mullins, however,' made a remarkable recovery, and though, he had to be helped into the dock, ho was able to stand unsupported while the charge was read over to him", lii appearance accused is. a black-bearded aijed man of mild mien, He appeared to listen to the charges with difficulty, closing his eyes the while. v On the application of Inspector Hen-, drey, Mullins was remanded till Wednesday next..
