LORD ALFRED DOUGLAS
$ ARRESTED AT FOLKESTONE. By Telegraph—Preos Association—Oopyricht London, September 6. Lord Alfred Douglas was arrested at Folkestone, and ch-irged at Marylebone, and remanded. At the Old Bailey in April, 1913, Lord Alfred Douglas, late editor of tlio "Academy," and a litterateur, second j son of the Marquis of Queonsberry, was | bound over in the sum of £500 for libelling Colonel 'distance, his father-in-law, over some trouble in connection with' the marriage settlement. He promised not to repeat the libel, but on March 7 last ho disobeyed an order for his appearance in pursuanco of tlio Court's decision. He wrote to the Recorder at the Old Bailey, stating he had gone to Paris and did not intend to appear. ■ His bail (£SOO/ was estreated and a warrant issued for liis apprehension. This warrant has now been executed.
