.. WAEEIMOO FHOJI SYDNEY. The Wariimoo-this week's direct boat from Sydney to Wellington—cleared tho New South Wales port at 3.30 p.m. on Friday. She is expected to arnlve in port tomorrow afternoon. The Warrimoo has 44 saloon and 60 steerago pa-ssengers and 564 tons of cargo for Wellington. Included in tho latter are 201 tons, which will be transhipped to Duncdin and the Bluff. The vessel is also bringing a large quantity of fruit. Tho Warrimoo will proceed to Lyttelton on Wednesday, and she will returm to Wellington in. time to ta&e her departure for Sydney, Newcastle, and Melbourne at 5 p.m. on Friday next. MESS TABLE GOSSIP. Sho is a- wooden vessel of 97 tons gross, and ras built at Tomakin, New South Wales, in 1904. Hiich inconvenience has beon caused to shipping recently cm account of the bad state of the bars on the West Coast. Conditions .improved somewhat for a few days, but, reports received from Westport and Grcymouth on Saturday wexo not encouraging. Having olea.red Hobartat6a.m. on Friday last, E.ir.S. Corinthic is due at Wellington from London to-morrow morning. The Vacuum Oil Company's chartered steamer Verda-la is expected to complete i discharge of tho Wellington portion of her cargo in time to sail for southern ports thio week. It is understood that the Terdala has been chartered by the New Zealand Government to act as a troopship in the near future. Word has been received by the local officeof ,the New Zealand Shipping Company to the- effect that their chartered steamer Anglo-Egyption, now at Sydney, has' been chartered by the Australian Government to be used as a troopship. The Anglo-Tjjryp-tian's Montreal cargo, which is destined for Ifew Zealand ports, will be brought across by intercolonial steamers. It was originally intended that the" Wakntn should make a. trip from Wellington to Picton to-day. These arrangements have been changed, however, and the vessel will leave port for Knikoura and Lyttelton this evening as usual. '.
