HORRIFYING STORIES CRUEL SLAUGHTER OF INNOCENTS (R«c. September 6, 5.6 p.m.) '- Parts, September 5. The Servian Press Bureau states that printed instructions were discovered regarding tho behaviour of 'the Austriane towards Soibs. The instructions declared that the Serbs are filled with violent hatred of the Austriaus, and therefore must not be treated with chivalry and humanity. All combatants in Servia not wearing uniform must be killed.. Austriaus disobeying those instructions will be severely punished. In the event of a shot being fired from a town hostages must be executed. • If tho inhabitants fail to give information they must to hanged. A BLOOD-RED TRAIL. Paris, September 5. • The Nish correspondent of the Paris "Journal" states that the Austriane bound together and shot eighty Servian prisoners at Shabatz and bayonetted the bodies,-saying: "Wβ arc,.doing this lor practice." '; .„■- ' Fourteen girls, the eldest only sixteen years old, were found decapitated, stretched in a row on the banks of a stream at Bellat Searka. A hundred men wore massacred at Lychnitza-, in sight of their wives and children.
