BODY OF MISSING WOMAN FOUND (By Telegraph—Press Association.) . Auckland, September 4. The body of Mrs. Benrose, who had been missing from Manawaru, near To Arolin, foi foui weeks, wm found in tho Waihu River yesterday.
A man, named Albert Jeffries, was knocked down by a cab in Victoria Street last night, and sustained injuries about the head. Ho was picked up by a constable 011 the beat, Kind afterwards removed to the hospital.
