ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
. 4 HOSPITAL V. CORINTHIANS. The last big match of the season brings together at the Basin Reserve this afternoon the two strongest teams in local football, namely, Corinthians and Hospital. The teams mot last Saturday at Porirua, when a drawn game , was tho result. A keen contest to do- '■ cide who shall hold the cup is looked forward.to, as both teams are at full strength. At- li3o p.m. a curtainraiser will be played between Brooklyn and St. David's, and the big match will lie commenced at 3 p.m. REFEREES' EXAMINATIONS. The following Wellington referees have been successful in their examination for the Now Zealand badge:— Messrs. C. Webster, J. A. Liddy, P. R. Pye-Smith, A. E. Wells, and H. S.
