SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications cjo for strong southwesterly winds, cold and unsettled wcatlier generally, with showera, especially on West Coast and southern districts. Barometer rising everywhere. Moderate to strong south-westerly winds havo predominated, with ram in the northern and southernmost districts, 'and on the West Coast, but fair to cloudy weather on the east coast.
