OFFICERS EjEPOSTED,

Officers hate been reposted ; and others promoted in tho sth (Wellmgton) Regiment, and a levy has also been mado upon the general training section to make up the vacancies caused by tho departure of the. main party of the Expeditionary Force, which was largely composed of Wellington men. As previously reported, Major A. de B. Brandon takes over temporary command of the sth Regiment, while Lieut.-Colonel Turner is absent, while Major Fleming Ross has been promoted to second in command.- The following officers from the Officors' Reserve bavo been appointed to tho regiment:—Captain H, i Eawthorno, witn the temporary rank of major; Lieut. W. B. Smith, with the temporary rank of captain; Captain D. S. Colnniby with the temporary rank of major;' Major W. Sinim, of the reserve of the 9th Regiment, and Lieut. C. W. Mellor, with the temporary rank of captain. Lieut. G C. Felton has been granted tho temporary rank of captain.
