The anniversary of the Petona Church of Christ Sunday School was celebrated on Sunday afternoon, Mr. H. Withington, superintendent, _ presiding over a fair audience. An' interesting address was delivered by. Mr. M.- 0. ;)p'hnstois, M.A. (evangelist Church of Christ, Vivian Street), and a choir of ohjldren under Mr. G. Moore. The prizes for tho year wore presented by the superintendent, and in the evening Mr'. H. Grinstead spoke on '"Character Building,".- the discourse beiug_ grapliicallv illustrated by ten.young girls, who built a cross in emblems.
