programme of the patriotic concert te bo given by tho Highland Society in the Town Hall on Saturday evening is published in this issue. His Excellency tho Governor and the Countess of Liverpool have signified their intention of being present. The opening item will bo a bagpipe selection by the Wellington Pipe Band; thon follows an excellent programme of vocal and instrumental items, and the various Highland dances, including international reel, Highland fling, and others. Tickets may be obtained from the secretary, Mr. J. W. Mackay, Panama Street, or any member of the committee.
