EMPRESS OF IRELAND
RECOVERY OP TREASURE. (Rec. August 25,10.45 p.m.) Ottawa, August 24. A salvage company has recovered five thousand pounds sterling from the wreck of the Empress of Ireland, also the purser's safe. It is believed that bodies and mail matter will ho recovered.
