Gibson, who has been ashore for a few days, has rejoined the Kapuni. Captain V. Johansen, who lias been octingof the vessel, has reverted to his position os mate. Mr. B. M'Kinuon, who lias been' acting-mate of the Kapuui, has come ashore. Mr. S.-Stafford has joined the Wahineas wireless operator. The Union Company's intercolonial timetable has been discontinued!.- In future the Strait sc.-vico will bo cut. out altogether. Arrangements have been made so as to enable the steamers to trade between Melbourne, Sydney, TVelllnston, <md LyVteltoD, and vice TCl'Ufli .'
