OBITUARY

SIR H. N. MAOLATJRIN. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright, (Eec. August 25, 1.30 a.m.) Sydney, August 24. Sir Henry Norman MncLaurin died suddenly after a short illness. The lato Sir H. N. MacLaurin was born in Scotland in 1835. He saw service as assistant surgeon in the Royal Navy, was medical officer at Greenwich Hospital, and served on H.M.B. Ohallengor, on the Australian Station. Ho was Chancellor of tho Sydney University since 1896, and a director of tho Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. London, August 23. Tho death is announced of Mr. Hogg, Liberal M.P. for Londonderry.
