His Honour Mr. Justice Edwards returned to Wellington from Palmerston North last evening. The exact whereabouts of Archbishop Redwoodand Dean Regnault, at present abroad, is unknown, despite the fact that several cables havoTieen sent; to likely places, inquiring about them. No news whatever has been received of them, and it is thought that they must have been in the vicinity of Belgium when war broko out. ■ Mr. Beddoe, the Canadian Trade Commissioner, is to be invited to attend the annual meeting of -the Wellington Central Chamber of Commerce next month. Mr. John Castle has resigned ]iib seat on the Council iof the Central Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. PL G. Hill has been elected to fill the vacancy/
