_ The .anniversary services of the Lower Hutt Church- of Christ Sunday School were celebrated yesterday before good attendances. Mr. J P Heggie.'sen.; presided.in the afternoon' 1 and Mr.-.H,: Grinstead' addressed tho gathering. : A feature of the service was the. singing .of the children's choir, under the baton of Mr. A! Hardhdm. ;;As -the'Petone sea wall is now nearin<r completion, a number of' boat sheds on tho foreshore have the'sea frontage cut oft from /them; On Saturday afternoon the work of removing one was commenced, the owners raising arid hauling it-.on te a truck on the Gear Company' 3 railway .line,' whence it' was taken te the vicinity of the mouth of the Hutt River..-Alt is.probable the remaining sheds will be removed in a similar manner. . , '

Yesterday afternoon Mr.' A. Bceson delivered an interestine address on "The War" at the Petene Methodist Young Men's Hall. There was a good attendance, and the discourso was much appreciated.

It is understood that a movement is. suggested to'organise a monster patriotic procession by the employees of tho P«tone Railway AVorkshops through tho streets of Wellington, each man appearins in' his working apparel.
