For current consumed in August and henceforth consumers are only being charged 2d. per unit, with a 25 per cent, reduction if the account is paid within fourteen days after tho "meter is read. This means that all who pay up promptly will got electrical energy for heat or power at lid. per unit—the cheapest rate over offered in Wellington, and possibly New Zealand.
