Subsequently the local societies tendered the visitors a reception. In the evening Dr. Dyson lectured on Greenwich Observatory, and Professor Dixon on Explosions. The visitors depart for Sydney ,by special train to-day, in readiness for tne opening of the congress on Thursday. .
