At tlio innucst regarding the death of the youth Frank Englebretsen, the «vi. dence 1 showed that tho four lads went shooting in the bush at Terehunga,' and then decided to play at "bushrangers." While doing-so one named Marshall shot' at Englebretsen"at a distance of a few yards with- a small shot gnu, with fatal' results. A verdict, was returned that death had been caused by a shot fired by Marshall. Tho Coroner expressed a hope that this worild be a warning to those who were in the habit of playing \vith firearms.
