PROBATE OF A WILL. Proceedings under Section 28 of the Administration Act occupied the attention of* His Honour -Mr./ Justice Edivards in tho Supreme Court throughout yesterday when application was made for probata of the will of the late Thomas Francis Walsh, farmer, of Hurloyvills), Taranaki. Deceased was taken ill at his farm and died' in a motor-car on the way to' tho New Plymouth Hospital 6a February 25, 1918. He.left property.and cash to tho value of ,£8154, less liabilities estimated at .£159. The will, on. which tho application was based, was dated orj the day of the death and attested by tho mark of the .deceased. Opposition to tho application was raised by several relatives. ~ _ Mr.- C. B. Morison, K.C., with Mr. J. W. Macdonald, of the. Public Trust Office, appeared for the Public Trustee (acting for several paternal uncles of the deceased), while Mr. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with Mr. J. L. Stout, opposed the application on behalf of deceased's grandmother and several maternal aunts and uncles. . ' ' . r Lengthy evidence was tendered and tho case had not concluded when the Court adjourned -until; 10.30 a.m. to-day.
