Kikuyu Conference-has been called together" by the Archbishop of Canterbury to,consider, the protest of the Bisliop of: Zanzibar against the action of tho Bishop of Mombasa and Uganda in. tak- ' ing ' part ,in a. communion service at Kikuyu at whicdi- the' Sacrament was administered to poople who were not niem--bcrs of the-Anglican Church; also against • a-proposed- scheme for the fe<leration of missionary societies. The Archbishop decided to refer the matter to'the Central iConsu|tativo Committeo formed by tho Lambeth Conference to give advice on questions of grave importance. It is this committee'which is now considering tho' matter. Bishop Wallis (formerly of Wellington) represents New Zealand.
