OPENING OF PANAMA CANAL
FIXED FOR NEXT MONTH. By Telegraph—Pree3 Assoclatlon-Couyriirht ' . Washington, July 26. It is announced that tho Panama Lanal will ho opened for commerco on August 10. The opening will bo celebrated by the passage of a Government vessel, tho Christobnl. Onlv vessels of 30 feet draught will be allowed to use tho canal at present.
