. STRINGENT INSPECTION URGED. The efforts which have of lato been made iii the cities to cope with the impure milk problem are to bo seconded by the Farmers' Union. Mr J. A.'Miliar (Hawkers Bay) moved at yesterday's -; ■>' :."'■. "That the Farmers' Union deplore the frequent prosecutions for retailing inir pure and adulterated milk. and ur_go more' stringent measures for milk inspection, and if necessary increase the penalty for the offence." Mr. Millar expressed the opinion that the work of. the Plunkct, Nurse. Soqioty should be .helped , along through good milk being made available to children./ The motion was carried:unanimoußly.'
