In the Legislative Assembly, ■■ on the motion of Mr. Giblin, a Labourite, it was unanimously resolved that, as tho result of the decision of the Imperial authorities regarding the recent constitutional .difficulty, it was hoped the Governor would not feel bound by any precedent to sever his connection with Tasmania. The resolution will be presented to Sir William Ellison Macartney, tho Governor. , '
