Sir Felix Schuster, chairman, addressing a meeting of shareholders of the Union of London and Smith's Bank, Ltd., emphasised the need of strengthening the country's gold reserves. Ho stated that- the;lmperial Bant of-: Ger l many-Md : inofe'^d' : ifs' ; gold te6ervie Mdii'ring the past year by £11,000,000, the Bank of France by £30,000,000, and tho Bank of Russia by £18,000,000.-
