Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report on their Waikanae sole, held on Tuesday,, as - follows:—A 'small entry of 'sheep and .cattle, came forward. In a number of instances vendors' reserves were not ' reached. There was a keen demand for store cows irt fair condition. The principal sales were as under:—Two and four-tooth wethers, 21s. 3d.; mixed sex lambs,, medium, 12s. 10d.: springing heifers. £6 to £6 155.: fair conditioned store cows, £4 16s. to £5 65.- ■ Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their-Johnsonville sale ao follows: —A fair entry of cattle and sheep came forward, and. sold well at lato rates. There was only a- small yard-in; of sheep, but cattle came forward well above advertised numbers. Competition was keen, and prices showed an advanco of ten shillings per head.
