Thirteen more scientists to attend the British Association Conference arrived by the Orontes. They include Mr. Frank Debenham, who was geologist to Captain Srot't's expedition.' In connection Kith Sir Ernest ShacUleton's_ coming: expedition, Mr. Debenham will lead a small party, which will land on the Australian sido of the Antarctic Continent, and try to converge on the other parties in tho middle of the continent, laying food depots on route up as far as the Bcardmore Glacier.
