' , . The. woman has since succumbed to her iujuries. - " The husband was'subsequently found' ; hiding among ' timber ' stacks on tho wharf, and arrested. Tho couijlo had three boys and on© girl, tho eldest aged 14. . Hammon subsequently appeared at • the Police Court and was charged with attempted murder. He was remanded to July 29. -
