At a meeting of veterans of tho Old Fourth Waifcato Regiment and tho •;• Hamilton Borough Council a committee was 1 setup to make arrangements to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of tho arrival of the regiment at Hamilton, on August; 24; 18G4. It is proposed to ask the Government to grant free rail- - way transit to veterans and tlieir wives. ■ The, council will give a banauct to the survivors and their direct descendants.
