When ready for feeding-off, he put nine cows, on it for net less than four hours, daily for two months, and they '! did splendidly.. 'fhey were then taken off and put on green oats a foot high with the result that the test went down two points and the milk yield many pounds. After ton days, on oats they wero put back on Western Wojths and the test at once jumped up *3 points, or ono point better than before, whilo.the yield more than recovered itself. At the end of the third' month the paddock was shut up and on being harvested gave .twenty-eight bushels of. marketable seed.
