CENERAL CONFERENCE. »— —/ Several letters have been written and sent to you and the General Conference during the last twenty years. But to none has there been a reply, or even'' an-acknowledgment. There seems, therefore, to be a need for an Open letter. ' ' ■■ All through, your ! past history you have protested against Papal errors and dogmas'._ You have frequently quoted the rallying cry of past ages, '(The Bible, and, the Bible , alone, is, the religion of Protestants." I ask, where in'the Bible do you find authority for the name of .your Sectarian Church P.; It is true that the Seventh Day is the Sabbath, and that the Advent of Christ a second, time is Bible teaching. But where in the Holy Scriptures have you the authority to 'set aside the name of .the Church of God, which is given ten times by tlio Holy Spirit, and which is left on record for us in the Holy Book P : In going | with a message','""and that which is the last, to the world, we should go with Divine authority, that is; in the name,of the, Lord of Hosts.
