The Canterbury Football Association, present holders of the Brown Shield, are to meet the AYanganui Football Association, the next challengers on the list, on, August 1. .'.:.•...■■■ is making sure progress in the Grey district. A Football Association is being formed, and the intention is to affiliate with.the N.Z.F.A. ■ .The. n secretary of the N.Z.F.A. has received advice from their London representative, Mr, A. E. Gibbs, intimating that.; there is ,a possibility of an English team visiting Australia and Now Zealand some time next year. This information will be discussed at the next meeting of the council.
