SUNDAY CONCERT.
In His Majesty's Theatre on Sunday, at 8.15 p.m.,-, the Corporation Tramways Band, under tho conductorship of Mr. C. W. Bowes (late sergeant Bth Royal Irish Hussars), are giving an instrumental and vocal concert., A special feature of tho fine programme mapped out is the engagement of Madame Careva, the great contralto, and Mr. B. H. Myall, a dramatic-tenor, both cultured vocalists. To bandsmen should appeal a saxhorn solo by Mr. Bowie (champion of the North Island). Another noteworthy item is-the first performance of a grand triumphal march which is composed, by Herr Carl Sauer, who will personally conduct his work, Among other _ items, the band will render a selection from the best works of Tschaikowsky, whilst the accompaniments will bo in the care of Horr Sauer -pud Miss Doris Easson.
