A block of country has come in between the rootwall and hanging wall; the reef appears to be coining together, again and. cutting out the country. No. 2 level driving east on. the reef from'tho west crosscut.a further distance of 2 feet was reached, making a total distance of 12: feet. A sample taken from this faco gavo the away, value of £2 Us. 7d. per ton No. 3 crosscut: Driving east from this crosscut on the hanging wall portion of the reef a. further distance of 3 feet was driven, making a total distaneo of 12 feet from .crosscut. A general sample taken from this face gave the .assay result of £4 4s. sd. per ton> Messrs. W. and G. Turnbull and Co.,' Ltd., report having held their' weekly sale in their Waipoua (Jlostorton) sale yards on Wednesday, when they had a good yarding of .sheep and catt-le, as. advertised.
