Willochra, stating that his vessel would not arrive at Wellington from San Francisco, via way ports, till 5 p.m. to-day. The Willochra lias evidently been delayed by bad weather. She will berth at the Cjucen's Wharf No. 6. SHIPPING CHANGES. Some important negotiations have been carried out in Wellington, during the past tow days in connection with certain welllinown coastal 'vessels changing hands, lieSre'sontativea of the Northern Steamship ompany have been inspecting the Coastal Steamship Company's Arapawa, and it is understood that,the purchase of that vessel is almost completed. Filial arrangements will he concluded at a meeting of directors of the Northern Company in Auckland on Tuesday, July 22. While the Anchor, Line's Kaitoa, was on the Wellington Patent Slip this week reprc ; sentatives of Messrs. Johnston and Co. inspected her, and it is understood that negotiations are ponding regarding her purchase by the latter company., On inquiries being made yesterday, no official information could Do gained on the subject. It is understood, however. tha,t the Kaitoa will be employed,in tho Wellington-Wanga-. nui trade, and,it'is considered likely that she' will make : the fortnightly trip from Wellington to Haivelock and Pelorus Sounds and back. • ..... .
