At Trentham, That yesterday was'lino was much to bo thankful for, but with an 'Antarctic wind that penetrated to every- corner of the grandstand and threats of rain'at Trontliam was hardly the most delightful placo in the world yesterday, when the. first day's meeting of the winter races was held.
