HEAT WAVE IN NEW YORK
• HUNDREDS SLEEPING OUT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright New York, July 13. A heat wave is spreading over New York, Missouri, and the Middle West generally. Hundreds are sleeping on the; Coney island beaches. ' Ten persons woro drowned' during Sunday's bathing. Two youngsters got out of thoir depth in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, and ! wero drowned. There wcro several thousand onlookers of the tragedy, but no one offered aid.
