MAGISTRATE'S COURT
A. SHORT SITTING. Mr. B. G. A.- Cooper, S.M., presided over yesterday's sitting of tho Magistrate's Court. The list was a brief one. Kathleen Boylo was remanded till July 17 on ii charge of theft at Masterton of £7 10s., tlie property of Win. E. Chamberlain. - A chargo of assault against George Hudson was dismissed as there was no appoaranco of tho complainant (Norman A. Stowart). Arthur Hatlicrall, a man-o'-warsman, was handed over to the naval authorities for punishment on charges of committing an net, of an objectionable nature, and drunkenness. For insobriety Marion M'Lnußhlin was fined 20s-.; and Wm. Henry Mitchell and John Foster were fined 10s. each. Throo fust offcwlors wore fined 10s. ench, and four others wore convicted mid'discharged.
